Letter to Parents September 2016

Moulton Preschool would like to welcome you and hope your time with us is an enjoyable one

The term dates for September – December are:-

Start Monday 5th September – Finish Friday 21st October

Start Monday 31st October – Finish Friday 15th December

Future news will be sent via emails if you would prefer a paper copy please speak to a member of staff before Friday 9th September.

A very exciting trip to Stockley farm has been arranged for all the children and parents on Mon 26th Sept. A coach will be leaving pre-school at 9.30 am and returning at 2.30 pm. The cost for entry to Stockley for a child and parent will be £15.90.

Please return the slip below as soon as possible.

Little Angels photographers will be visiting us to take individual and family group photographs of the children on Monday 3rd October if you would like your child’s photograph to be taken please speak to a member of staff.

Our AGM is on Wednesday 9th November at 8 pm in the main hall, as we are a community Preschool we need your support to continue, please come along and join us for drinks and a buffet and find out more about the running of Preschool.

Christmas Party for all the children on Friday 16th December – more details nearer the time.

PLEASE NOTE ALL CHILDREN ATTENDING FULL DAYS BRINGING A LUNCH IN AN INSULATED COOL BAG WITH A COOL BLOCK.

Please name all items brought in from home including clothing and outdoor coats.

About Pre School

Session Places

We offer places for 36 children in any one session, in the lovely location of St Stephens Church Hall and we have our own large, secure, outdoor play area. Please see our Ofsted inspection reports. we are supported by our wonderful staff members, five qualified at degree level and all others to NVQ Level 3 or working towards.

Funded Places

Funded places are available for all 3-4yr olds and now some 2yr-olds can also get funded childcare. To see if you qualify contact your nearest children's centre. We also accept 30 hours funding. 30 hours free childcare - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) Please follow the link to see if you qualify.

Educational Visits

We also have visits from people who help us in the community, like police, fire officers and nurses and have important links to Moulton primary School. Our Pre-schoolers also feed into many other schools in the area including Davenham CE, Kingsmead, and Winsford Schools.

Active Involvement

Parents of children who attend pre-school are encouraged to become actively involved by joining the committee. Many committee members even stay on to support the group for long after their children have moved on to "big" school.
